Title: Network Administrator
Report to: IT Supervisor
Department: IT Department

Responsibilities:
- Receiving general instructions from a supervisor
- Administering a complex site alone or assisting in the administration of a larger site.
- Helping plan and initiate future growth of the site/network.
- Training novice Network administrators or operators.
- Share in off-hour/on-call duties

Qualifications:
Education, Experience & Training required:

Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Requirements:
- Chinese native speaker
- Three to five years of Network administration experience
- Desirable Background and Skills
- A degree in computer science or a related field major highly preferred.
- CCNA or CCNP preferred.
- Knowledge of any type *nix operating systems a plus.
- Provide level 3 Networking support. Perform troubleshooting and resolution for an IP based network consisting of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls.
- Through understanding of IP communications networks and their components, specifically for IP addressing, VLAN design, Routing, Layer 2 switching, DMVPNs, Access Lists, load balancing, and content switching.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of network troubleshooting practices and tools, and must have expert ability to configuration/administer routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ability to work during maintenance windows and on weekends as required. Candidate needs to be able to travel to remote sites for future installations and or upgrades.
- Must have the ability to work as a member of a team as well as the capability to work on projects independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of training users in complex topics, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with upper management.
- Independent problem-solving, and self-direction.
- Expert knowledge in configuration of Cisco routers, switches, and PIX firewalls.
